I moved to Canada in 2021, and am currently studying Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Outside of academics, I spend a lot of time thinking about good food, better design, and why things feel the way they do. I'm particular, some might say critical when it comes to both food and fashion, and I find joy in slow, intentional routines.
That mindset is what got me into specialty coffee and led to me becoming a part-time barista. I've since developed an appreciation for process and precision, not just in brewing, but in how I build things digitally too. I do a lot of frontend development, which feels a bit ironic since I long for more in person experiences, community events, and tangible work that doesn't live behind a screen.
When I'm not coding or testing new pourover recipes, I'm likely listening to Julee Cruise, scouting for secondhand Shinya Kozuka through Buyee, or spending time with my British Shorthair, Elliott (named after Elliott Smith). My dream is to carve out a creative path with freedom and intent, somewhere between the physical and digital, bringing back spaces that feel real and lived-in.
